ABOUT ME
Who I am
I am a passionate leader, self-proclaimed high achiever, and firm believer that organizations perform best when their people do. Throughout my career, I have been described as a collaborative, high-energy leader who brings strategy, practical experience, and personality to the workplace.
My Human Resources career is grounded in Organization Development and Applied Behavioral Science. I have led HR and workplace initiatives across corporate, government, and international nonprofit organizations, supporting domestic and global employees.
Over time, my responsibilities expanded from traditional HR leadership into strategic operations. I have managed daily operations and translated CEOs’ long-term visions into practical strategies, measurable priorities, and coordinated action. This experience strengthened my ability to connect people, processes, and performance while building winning cultures.
In a winning culture, employees understand the mission, feel valued, and are equipped to succeed; leaders inspire accountability; and teams deliver measurable results.
I help organizations strengthen leadership, close talent and skill gaps, improve processes, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and align human capital strategies with organizational goals.
My specialties include: cultural transformation, human capital strategy, talent management, leadership coaching, team building, employee development and relations, conflict resolution, workforce engagement, HR operations, process improvement, and organizational change. Why I do this
Early in my career, I was given a defining opportunity: creating and leading the first self-directed work team at a Fortune 500 company. That experience showed me what becomes possible when employees are trusted, prepared, and empowered to take ownership of results.
The initiative led to recognition from the U.S. Department of Labor for innovative HR practices and became the catalyst for my career in Human Resources. More importantly, it shaped a leadership philosophy that continues to guide me today: winning cultures are not created by slogans, benefits, or one-time initiatives. They are built through clear expectations, capable leadership, meaningful employee involvement, accountability, and trust.
What We Can Accomplish Together
I believe the best workplace solutions are built through partnership. I created this blog to exchange ideas about culture, leadership, talent, and organizational performance. By sharing our experiences, we can build workplaces where people feel valued, and organizations thrive.
Together, we can make Human Resources a trusted strategic partner, strengthen leadership, help teams navigate change, and create cultures grounded in clarity, accountability, and trust.
